Siwan, Jan. 22 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday announced that milk producer cooperatives will be formed in all 1,528 villages of Siwan district to promote the dairy sector, while 'Sudha' milk sales centres will be opened in all 293 panchayats of the district.
Reviewing the ongoing development works during his Samriddhi Yatra in Siwan, the Chief Minister said that the initiatives would significantly boost people's income and improve their standard of living.
He emphasised that strengthening the dairy sector would generate large scale employment and enhance rural livelihoods.
