Patna, March 27 -- Welcoming the Centre's decision to approve an additional Rs 700 crore for the AIIMS project in Darbhanga, Bihar BJP president Sanjay Saraogi on Friday termed it a major boost to the long-awaited healthcare institution.
Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Saraogi said here that the approval was granted during the union Cabinet meeting held on March 25 under the Prime Minister's chairmanship.
The additional fund comes over and above the earlier sanctioned Rs 1,264 crore for the project.
