New Delhi, Jan. 11 -- The long-awaited Tamil film 'Parasakthi', starring Sivakarthikeyan, has finally been released in theatres and is already sparking strong reactions across political and film circles.

Among those who watched the film was actor-politician Kamal Haasan, who shared his response in a letter addressed to Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin.

In his letter, Kamal Haasan said he did not anticipate the film carrying such a powerful political impact and described 'Parasakthi' as a "mighty war drum" ahead of the 2026 Assembly elections.
