Shimla, Feb. 14 -- The Himachal Pradesh Government has unveiled a comprehensive reform package aimed at strengthening school education and safeguarding underage children from the harmful effects of excessive mobile phone usage.

In a decisive move, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, along with Education Minister Rohit Thakur, announced that a ''No Mobile Phone Policy" would be implemented across all state-run schools from March 1.

Chairing a high-level meeting of the Education Department, the Chief Minister directed officials to complete all required modalities within a stipulated timeframe to ensure smooth enforcement of the policy.
