Bengaluru, Oct. 27 -- Legislative Council Opposition Leader Chalavadi Narayanaswamy on Monday criticised the Congress government in Karnataka, saying that Members of Parliament were "not meant to bring money or act as real estate agents."Responding to remarks suggesting that MPs should be responsible for securing funds, Narayanaswamy said the government had failed to deliver on development. "If the government cannot ensure development, it should step down. How will people of this state tolerate such governance for the next two-and-a-half years?" he asked.
