New Delhi, Feb. 1 -- Rani Mukerji's Mardaani 3 opened to a decent start at the box office, earning Rs 4 crore on its first day.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the figures on social media, noting that the film has performed better than the previous two installments despite a limited release.

"Mardaani3, which followed a compact release strategy by YRF limited screens and restricted shows], has opened better than expected, higher than the first two installments.
