Dumka, Dec. 14 -- Welfare Minister and BJP nominee from Dumka seat Louis Marandi
on Saturday said that the issue of displacement of Massanjore Dam was close to her heart
and she will continue to fight for the rights of the people.
Ms Marandi that under the present BJP government which is at power in the Centre and
as well as in the state concrete steps have been taken to solve the problems of the people
who have been hit by displacement.
She said that fruits of the efforts taken to address the issue will soon be visible to the
people.
The minister said that party MPs from Godda and Dumka have also seriously raised the
issues related to Massanjore Dam in the Lok Sabha following which the centre also took
