Kochi, Aug. 22 -- A two-day 'Good to Go: Death Literacy Festival' will be held at the Bangalore International Centre (BIC), Domlur, to help people understand and engage with the realities of death and dying.
"The unique and thought-provoking event is being organised by Pallium India in association with the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy, with support from the Microland Foundation and the Ajit Isaac Foundation", a release said today.
The organisers noted that death literacy empowers individuals to make informed choices in line with their values and priorities particularly towards the end of life. Advance care planning, such as preparing a living will, can ease the burden on loved ones while ensuring a dignified farewell.
