, Sept. 26 -- Bangladeshi tech giant Walton has been honoured with the 'Enterprise of the Year' title at the 23rd edition of the Bangladesh Business Awards.

The prestigious award was jointly presented by global logistics service provider DHL Express and leading English daily The Daily Star, according to a media statement issued on Thursday.

Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC. received the 'Best Enterprise of the Year' award for the second time for its outstanding contribution to the national economy through reshaping Bangladesh's electronics market, moving from import dependence to global competitiveness.

Earlier in 2014, Walton also recognised with the most prestigious Bangladesh Business Awards
