Dhaka, Feb. 12 -- Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus on Thursday called upon political parties and candidates to uphold democratic values, tolerance, and mutual respect even after the announcement of the final results.
"There will always be differences of opinion, but we must remain united in the greater national interest," he said in a statement.
Prof Yunus said Bangladesh has once again demonstrated that the people are the ultimate source of power.

"Together, we will move forward to build an accountable, inclusive, and just state," he added.
