Dhaka, June 24 -- British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Sarah Cooke on Tuesday said the UK's modern Industrial Strategy will help strengthen the already strong economic ties between Bangladesh and the United Kingdom (UK).

"The UK's modern Industrial Strategy is our ten-year plan to strengthen infrastructure, reduce costs for businesses and simplify regulation. The Strategy will help strengthen the already strong economic ties between UK and Bangladesh," she said while commenting on the new strategy.

The UK's modern Industrial Strategy unveiled on June 23 sets out a ten-year plan to boost investment in the UK, create good skilled jobs and make Britain the best place to do business.
