, April 12 -- Two locomotives were derailed within a span of seven hours and a 15-kilometer radius in Lalpur upazila of Natore district on Saturday.

Abdulpur Station Master Ziauddin said the locomotive of inter-city 'Panchagarh Express' veered off the tracks around 4:00am on Saturday while heading towards Panchagarh in Angaripara area of Lalpur.

A rescue train from Ishwardi arrived there around 6:00am and placed the engine back on the track, resuming the train movement toward its destination.
