Dhaka, Feb. 14 -- US President Donald Trump has ruled out any involvement of the United States in Bangladesh's ongoing issues.

"I'll leave Bangladesh to PM Modi (Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi)," he said.

He made the remarks while responding to a question at a joint press conference with PM Modi following a bilateral meeting in Washington.

The two leaders primarily discussed trade and India-US relations, but Trump dismissed a question regarding Bangladesh's situation.
