Dhaka, March 17 -- Thousands of people gathered at English Premier League football star Hamza Choudhury's house in Sylhet.

On Monday afternoon, he arrived at his village home in Snanghat, Bahubal Upazila, from Sylhet Airport.

There had been much discussion surrounding Hamza's arrival over the past few days. People from all ages were eagerly waiting for a chance to see a glimpse of him. A motorcycle procession accompanied him from Paniunda on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway to his home.
