Thakurgaon, Feb. 2 -- Thakurgaon District emerged champions in the day-long Youth Festival Inter-District Athletics Championship of Rangpur Division held at Rangpur Stadium on Sunday.

Divisional Commissioner of Rangpur M Shahidul Islam, who is also the President of Rangpur Division Sports Association inaugurated the meet as the chief guest.

Thakurgoan District clinched the divisional title securing 44 points while Lalmonirhat District finiahed runners-up with 31 points.
