Dhaka, Jan. 27 -- BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman on Tuesday had an emotional encounter with a teenage girl who stopped his motorcade from Mymensingh to Gazipur, telling him she dreams of serving people through politics and becoming an MP one day.

The incident took place in the Seed Store area of Mymensingh's Bhaluka while Tarique was travelling by bus from Mymensingh to attend another election rally in Gazipur.

Witnesses said the girl asked Tarique's motorcade to stop, expressing her wish to speak to him.
