Dhaka, Dec. 5 -- Bangladesh spinner Taijul Islam has been named for the ICC Men's Player of the Month award for November following his match-winning performance in the home Test series against Ireland.
Taijul was the leading wicket-taker in the two-Test series, where Bangladesh secured a clean sweep. The left-arm spinner claimed 13 wickets across the series.
His consistent impact helped Bangladesh dominate the Irish batters on familiar spinning conditions.
The ICC announced the shortlist on its website on Thursday, describing Taijul as a "reliable match-winner at home" for tigers.
