Narail, July 20 -- year-old boy died after falling under the wheels of his father's horse-drawn cart in the Naragati area of Kalia upazila in Narail on Saturday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Sadman, son of Hafizur Molla from Bagudanga village.

The incident occurred in front of Bagudanga Secondary School around 12 noon, while Hafizur Molla was returning home with a load of rotten jute from the Atharobeki River.

Sadman was walking alongside the cart when he suddenly slipped and fell under its wheels. The cart ran over his stomach, leaving him critically injured.

Sadman was rushed toward Gopalganj Hospital but died on the way.
