Jhenaidah, Sept. 21 -- Popular singer and BNP leader Monir Khan has called on party leaders and activists to set aside internal divisions and unite to strengthen the party ahead of the upcoming national elections.
"Only through collective effort can the BNP achieve its political goals," Khan said while addressing a public meeting at Purandarpur Primary School ground in Fatehpur Union of Maheshpur Upazila on Sunday afternoon.
Khan, a former central leader of Jatiotabadi Samajik Sangskritik Sangstha (JASAS), said that conspiracies are already underway concerning the upcoming elections and stressed the need for a united response.
