Bangladesh, June 16 -- grader, died after reportedly falling from the rooftop of her house in the capital's Demra area on Monday evening.

The deceased was identified as Rumi Akter, 13, daughter of Rubel Mia of Boxnagar Rani Mahal Haji Road under Demra Police Station.

The incident occurred at around 7:30pm when the girl fell from the rooftop of their two-storey house. She was critically injured, said her cousin Meherun Nesa, who brought her to the hospital.

She was rushed to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), where the on-duty doctors declared her dead at around 8:50pm.
