, Sept. 25 -- The SAARC Agriculture Centre (SAC) and the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in New York to enhance cooperation in agricultural research, extension services, nutrition, and policy development.

The ceremony was attended by Ambassador Md. Golam Sarwar, secretary general of SAARC, as the guest of honour, and Dr. Johan Swinnen, director general of IFPRI, as the special guest. The signing ceremony held on Wednesday.
