, July 15 -- Marking the World Youth Skills Day, the European Union (EU) on Tuesday said they celebrate the energy, creativity, and potential of young people across Bangladesh.
"On this World Youth Skills Day, let's reaffirm our commitment to leaving no young person behind. Skills change lives. Let's build the future together," said the EU Embassy in Dhaka in a message marking the day.
Through their budget support programme, the EU said they are working with the government of Bangladesh to strengthen the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) system, making it more inclusive and future-ready.
