, Aug. 21 -- Pakistan has expressed strong interest in strengthening bilateral trading ties with Bangladesh, said Pakistan's Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan.

He shared the interest during a meeting with President of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI), Taskeen Ahmed in Dhaka, said a press release issued on Thursday.

During the meeting Khan said that both Bangladesh and Pakistan predominantly rely on the apparel and textile sectors in terms of export.

To make export sector robust he also underscored the importance of diversification of exportable products.
