Dhaka, Nov. 24 -- Nepalese Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanashyam Bhandari on Monday stressed the role of the United Nations in strengthening multilateralism and reflected on its importance for countries like Bangladesh and Nepal.

He was speaking as the chief guest at a seminar on 'Building Our Future Together: Hopes and Lessons' held on the occasion of Global Day 2025 celebrations at Independent University, Bangladesh.

The Ambassador highlighted the challenges facing the UN and underscored the longstanding contributions of Bangladesh and Nepal, particularly their leadership roles in promoting peace, sustainable development, and inclusive multilateralism.
