Dhaka, Feb. 8 -- Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) has observed that old patterns of the influence of money, religion, muscle power, patriarchy and majoritarian dominance have persisted in the elections, while imprudent actions by the government and the Election Commission have created unnecessary controversy surrounding the referendum.
