Dhaka, June 11 -- Parts of the country are currently experiencing a mild heat wave, which is expected to persist for the next two days starting from Wednesday morning, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
"Moderate heat wave is sweeping over the district of Niphamari and mild heat wave is sweeping over the rest parts of Rangpur division, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna and Sylhet divisions and the districts of Brahmanbaria and Feni and it may abate from some places," says the BMD.
During the period, day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
