Khulna, Nov. 3 -- A madrasah teacher was shot dead and three others injured when unidentified assailants opened fire and hurled bombs targeting a BNP office in Khulna on Sunday night.

The deceased was identified as Imdadul Haque, a teacher of Bochhitola Nurani Hafizia Madrasah and a former teacher of Yusuf School.

The injured are Mamun Sheikh, 45, organising secretary of Jogipole Union BNP; Belal Khan, 55; and Mizanur Rahman, 58.
