Dhaka, May 28 -- Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus, who will attend the Nikkei Forum in Japan, is expected to call upon Asia and its leaders to come together in a spirit of cooperation and shared responsibility to ensure a peaceful, prosperous, and sustainable future for the next generations, at a time when the world is facing growing tensions, conflicts and uncertainties.

The Forum is one of the most prestigious and influential platforms for political, economic, and academic leaders in the region, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday.

Prof Yunus will deliver the keynote address at the Forum in Tokyo.

The Chief Adviser will pay an official working visit to Japan from May 28-31.
