, Jan. 24 -- A leader of Islami Andolan Bangladesh (IAB) was killed and one of his associates injured on Friday when a mini-truck ran over them on the Kushtia-Rajbari regional highway in Kumarkhali, kusthia.

The accident occurred around 10pm in the Fultola area of Sadki Union.

The deceased was identified as Abdur Razzak Badsha, 48, son of Hachen Ali of Betbaria village in Jagannathpur Union. He was the owner of Al-Madina Sweet Store near Kumarkhali bus stand and served as the president of IAB's Jagannathpur Union unit. His injured associate was named Mufti Khairul Bashar.

According to police, witnesses, and locals, Badsha was riding a motorcycle with his associate to visit the residence of IAB candidate Anwar Khan in Khoksha, Kushtia-4...
