Dhaka, June 26 -- Anbiya Central Headquarters announced on Wednesday that its Chief Commander, Ali Shadmani, has died from injuries sustained during an Israeli airstrike.

Shadmani, who had recently succeeded Gholam Ali Rashid as head of the military command, was critically wounded in an Israeli attack last week, according to Iran's semi-official Tasnim news agency.
