, Feb. 21 -- Fisheries and Livestock Minister Mohammad Amin Ur Rashid has said that today's children are the future of the nation and proper development of their talents will help build a worthy generation.

"If we can develop them properly, the country will have a capable and enlightened generation," he said on Saturday while addressing a programme to distribute school bags among meritorious primary-level students.

The event was held at the ground of Neura MI High School in Cumilla Sadar Dakshin Upazila, organised by the Haji Md Zahirul Islam Foundation, marking the Great Martyrs' Day and International Mother Language Day.
