, June 2 -- Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed on Monday said the interim government is now focusing more on strengthening the foundation of economy instead of accelerating the pace of growth.

"This strong foundation will serve as the steppingstone to build a resilient and sustainable future of Bangladesh," he said in his televised budget speech.
