Dhaka, July 29 -- Four overseas companies are among five firms that have shown interest in organising the next edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) said recently.

In a media release, the board said it had received expressions of interest from five sports marketing and event management firms.

The BCB had invited proposals earlier this month, seeking a partner to take charge of hosting the franchise-based T20 league, scheduled for December-January.

The interested firms are- Apex Sports Consulting (UAE), IMG (USA), Real Impact and Absolute Legends Sports (India), the IPG Group (UAE), and Bangladesh's own Transport Group.
