Dhaka, April 7 -- Four senior footballers of the SAFF Women's champions Bangladesh team left the capital for Thimphu on Sunday to play in the Bhutan National Women's Football League beginning there on April 15.

Four players --Bangladesh captain Sabina Khatun, SAFF's best player Ritu Porna Chakma, reliable national booters Monika Chakma and Matsushima Sumaya---will play the for Paro FC in Bhutan league.

Officials of Paro FC received the players at the airport.

The four Bangladeshi players will play for Paro FC for four months and they are likely get Taka one lakh per month per person in addition to both way air fares and all local in expenses.

But, their clubs will have to release them during national team engagements as per FIFA rules...
