Dhaka, Feb. 11 -- Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain on Tuesday emphasized the need for boosting cooperation with Georgia in education and sought its Ambassador's assistance in enrolling more Bangladeshi students in higher education institutions in Georgia.

He also highlighted the need to focus more on bilateral trade, investment, and economic collaboration.

Ambassador of Georgia to Bangladesh (based in New Delhi) Vakhtang Jaoshvili paid his first courtesy call on Adviser Hossain at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and discussed issues of mutual interest.

Both parties agreed to hold the next bilateral consultation soon.
