Dhaka, July 9 -- The Muhuri and Selonia rivers in Feni district are still flowing above danger levels, with the situation expected to improve if the floodwaters gradually recede.

Over the next 24 hours, the water levels of these rivers are likely to remain steady and the flood situation in Feni district may remain stable, according to the latest forecast from the Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC).

In this basin, heavy rainfall is expected in the next 24 hours followed by moderate to moderately heavy rainfall over the next two days, it predicted.
