, April 29 -- A project titled "Feminism: Action and Mobilisation for Inclusive Economy (FAME)" has been inaugurated recently to empower women and support grassroots civil society organizations in Bangladesh.
With €10 million budget, the project is being implemented for over four years (2024-2027) across 10 countries, including Bangladesh.
In Bangladesh, the initiative will empower more than 2,000 women and support grassroots civil society organizations through three grant windows.
"The FAME project aims to promote economic inclusion, gender equality, sustainability, and support for women and LGBTQIA+ communities and persons with disabilities," said French Ambassador to Bangladesh Marie Masdupuy.
