Dhaka, March 2 -- Environment Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan highlighted the need for strategic partnerships to ensure that climate investments deliver tangible benefits to local communities and ecosystems.
The adviser reiterated the government's commitment to sustainable environmental management and the importance of international collaboration.
She made the remarks during a meeting with a delegation led by Erik Solheim, former Norwegian Minister of Environment and Climate Change, and Kavin Kumar Kandasamy, CEO of ProClime, at Pani Bhaban on Sunday.
The discussions focused on strengthening climate cooperation, exploring carbon market opportunities, and advancing ecosystem restoration initiatives in Bangladesh.
