Dhaka, May 13 -- Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abu Sayed Md Kamruzzaman said on Tuesday that Dhaka Wasa, Rajuk and the DNCC will work together on the wastewater management of Gulshan and Banani areas.

He said this while inspecting the wastewater management plant constructed by the DNCC on the bank of Banani Lake adjacent to Karail Slum.

CEO Sayed informed that the DNCC will soon build a drain along a road, owned by the Rajuk, stretching from the Bridge of Banani No-11 road to Karail Slum, as requested by the Rajuk.

He said the DNCC has already constructed three wastewater management plants with the help of the Unicef and the trial-basis operations of those will begin this month.
