, Dec. 30 -- A large number of BNP leaders and activists gathered outside Evercare Hospital on Tuesday following the death of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia.

Witnesses said several hundred people had thronged the hospital premises since Tuesday morning.

Many were seen breaking down in tears while some peered through the barbed-wire fence set up at the hospital gate.
