Dhaka, Nov. 6 -- A Dhaka court on Thursday ordered the freezing of 81 bank accounts belonging to former minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya and his family in a graft case.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Sabbir Foyez passed the order following a petition filed by Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Deputy Director Mozammil Hossain.

Of the accounts, 16 belong to Maya, 36 to his wife Parveen Chowdhury and 29 to his son Rashedul Islam Chowdhury.
