Dhaka, March 16 -- The Dhaka court has imposed a travel ban on Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif, his wife Fouzia Alam, sons Fahim Afsar Alam and Farhan Sadik Alam, and daughter Tanisha Alam due to corruption allegations.
On Sunday, Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md. Zakir Hossain Galib issued this order in response to a petition filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
ACC's Deputy Director Saiduzzaman had requested the travel ban on their overseas trips.
