Dhaka, Aug. 12 -- Baishili Household Products Bangladesh Co. Ltd., a Chinese company, is set to invest US$10.47 million to establish a household products and bag manufacturing plant in the BEPZA Economic Zone (BEPZA EZ) at Mirsharai, Chattogram.

An agreement to this effect was signed on Tuesday at the BEPZA Complex in Dhaka between the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and Baishili Household Products Bangladesh Co. Ltd, according to a press release.

BEPZA Executive Chairman Major General Abul Kalam Mohammad Ziaur Rahman witnessed the signing ceremony. Md. Ashraful Kabir, Member (Investment Promotion), signed the agreement on behalf of BEPZA, while Mr. Sun Rundong, Chairman of Baishili Household Products Bangladesh Co....
