Sirajganj, March 10 -- Armed robbers looted seven mobile phone sets and cash Tk 80,000 from passengers aboard a microbus on the western connecting highway of the Jamuna Bridge in Sirajganj's Kamarkhand upazila on Sunday.

Mohammad Anarul Islam, officer-in-charge of Jamuna Bridge West Police Station, said the robbers threw bricks at the front glass of the vehicle, forcing the driver to stop in Konnabari area at 8:30 pm when it was heading to Rajshhai from Dhaka.
