Dinajpur, May 2 -- Indian Border Security Force (BSF) allegedly picked two Bangladeshi farmers up from the Biral border in Dinajpur on Friday noon, locals said.
In response, local Bangladeshis also held two Indian nationals.
As of filing this report till 2:15pm, a flag meeting between Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and the BSF was underway to resolve the matter.
Locals said farmers Masud and Enamul were harvesting paddy near the border when BSF personnel allegedly crossed into Bangladeshi territory and detained them from Dharampur union of Biral upazila.
After hearing it, locals retaliated by detaining two Indian tribal farmers Abinash Tudu and Philip Soren.
