Dhaka, May 29 -- The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has expressed regret over the public inconvenience and traffic congestion caused by its recent youth rallies held in Dhaka and several other cities.
In a press statement issued on Thursday, the party said, "We sincerely apologise for the temporary inconvenience caused to city dwellers, particularly due to traffic congestion, as millions of youths gathered in Dhaka and other cities during the vibrant youth rallies."
BNP also extended its gratitude to the administration, police and traffic department for their cooperation in ensuring the smooth and successful completion of the programmes.
