Dhaka, Feb. 8 -- The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has announced a series of rallies covering all 64 districts of the country, demanding effective measures to curb the hike in prices of daily essentials, arrest the slide in law and order situation, and pressing for an electoral roadmap.

"The BNP will hold rallies in all districts, beginning on February 11 and concluding before Ramadan. Subsequently, similar gatherings will be held in metropolitan and divisional headquarters," said BNP Senior Joint General Secretary Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, at a press conference at the party's central office in Dhaka on Saturday afternoon.
