Dhaka, Feb. 12 -- Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain has said there is significant potential for further collaboration with Bhutan, particularly in the areas of power and trade, noting that cooperation has been strengthened over the years in various sectors.

Ambassador of Bhutan to Bangladesh Rinchen Kuentsyl paid a farewell call on Adviser for Foreign Affairs Md Touhid Hossain at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday and discussed issues of mutual interest.

For the greater benefit of the people of the region, the importance of having extensive regional cooperation through Saarc and Bimstec was discussed, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
