, Nov. 19 -- Bangladesh received US$ 1.9 billion as remittance in 18 days of November.
This information was revealed in an updated report released by Bangladesh Bank (BB) on Wednesday.
The overseas Bangladeshi workers have sent 30.7 percent more remittance in 18 days of November 2025, compared with the same time of November 2024.
From July to November 15, four-month and a half, the inflow of remittance exceeded $12.05 billion.
This shows 15.9 percent growth of remittance so far in FY 2025-26 compared with the same period of FY 2024-25.
Central bank officials said the continuous inflow of expatriate income through the official banking channel has brought much-needed relief to the country's foreign exchange reserves.
