Dhaka, Feb. 23 -- The number of factories achieving LEED certification has grown significantly and Bangladesh is now home to 237 LEED certified factories.
This impressive total includes 95 factories that have attained the highest Platinum rating, 128 that have earned Gold status, and 10 that have been awarded Silver.
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the world's most widely used green building rating system.
LEED certification provides a framework for healthy, highly efficient, and cost-saving green buildings, which offer environmental, social and governance benefits.
